The Bead

I have decided that I need to make more of an effort to updated things that I will want to remember years from now, so i am going to try and update more abour Bella Kate, and what happens in everyday life. I would like for her to be able to read this when she is older and laugh at all she has done.

This morning when I was getting Bella ready she was not in a great mood. She was very sleepy and crying. I went to wash her face and blow her nose, and all of the sudden a "Pink Bead", blew out of her nose. I almost had a heart attack. You can only imagine, I freaked.

It turns out that she has placed the bead there the day before!! At nap time at school. She was already to tell anyone that she did this and when she could not get it out, she just kept quiet about it. When I asked her why she put it in her nose, she said she was hiding it. Can you believe that?? I reminded her that she does have pockets for this. LOL Oh to be 4 years old. I am so glad that it did come out with no trip to the ER.

Happy Retirement Daddy

We gave Daddy a retirement party, it was well deserved. Daddy so deserves this. We are so proud of him.

Bella Kate had a great time at Halloween. She dressed as a "Baby Doll".

Long Overdue Update!

Bella Kate started Pre-K. She LOVES it. She ask everyday if she gets to go, and on weekends, she doesnt understand why she does get to go. She has Mrs M. Chambers for Pre-K, with PPro Mrs Landrum. Bella is really learning a lot. Things she is learning:

Colors
Numbers
Letters


She loves to read books and is really in to music and movies right now.

She Dances!

Bella took her first dance class this summer for Ballet and Tap. I wasn't really sure if at 3 years old she would be into it or not, but since she dances around the house all the time, I decided to give it a try. The local dance studio offers a Summer Class that only last 8 weeks, so I signed her up. Her best friend Lillian also too Dance call with her, which just thrilled Bella to death. She just loved Lillian. They were so cute together. At the end of the 8 weeks they did their dance at the local "Home Spun" festival. They did their dance to "You are my Sunshine", they had little Yellow Dance outfits, and they were so cute for words. Bella and Lillian both did really great. I was so proud of both of them.

Bella Kate Turned 4!

Bella Kate had a great 4th Birthday Party. She is really into Sponge Bob right now, and just loved her cake. She had lots of friends come out to celebrate with her. She really loves the ballpit at First Baptist. If there is one thing that gets her excited it is her very own birthday party. She is such a blessing to us.

Fishing

Bella went fishing with Daddy, Paw-Paw, and Gran. She had a really great time. She loves the outdoors.

1 year together...Remembering Gotcha Day

I can not believe it is 1 year today since I held my baby girl for the first time. We had a wonderful Gotcha Day Anniversary today. Bella was so cute today. When she got up this morning I asked her if she knew what today is. She said, Ya, NO!! I said 1 year ago today mommy got to hold you in her arms for the first time. Bella was smiling so big. I said, So you think we should celebrate??? Bella said, YES, WITH CHOCOLATE MILK!!!!!

All day today she has told me today is "GOT ME DAY". Oh how we love her so much.

One Year with Bella Kate...Can You Believe It?

One year ago today, Bryan and I were about to hold our baby girl for the first time. We were both scared to death, but yet so excited. It is so hard to believe that it has been a whole year, since we flew around the world in 16 days to bring our baby home. Bella Kate has truely made our lives complete. I could not have asked for a better fit for our family. She is so much like her mommy and daddy. She loves to talk, sing, and dance. She ask questions all the time, and is such a happy little girl. Oh we love her so.

My wish and prayer for everyone, out there still waiting to become a mom, to find hope and peace that it will be your time soon. I promise they are so worth the wait!!!! Do not lose hope.

Fresh New Look!

We decided we were due for a new look. Bella picked what she wanted. I think she has good taste, just like her moma. lol!!
